This is what their website had to say

Mountain Dew Farms is the place where you can find "Heaven's Painted Pleasures".

We are located in the beautiful mountains of Oneida, Tennessee.  We have four children, ages 18, 17, 11, and 3.  Our children are an active part in our farm and share in the responsibilities of caring for and handling our animals daily.  We raise a variety of animals including,  "Painted Desert Sheep", "Llamas", "SA Boer Goats", "Australian Shepherds", "Weimaraners", "Milk Goats", "Donkeys" &
"Wonderful Horses".

We enjoy all of our animals, but our greatest love and our specialty area is our "Trail Horses".  We are proud to be able to say that we are:

"The Home Of Some Of The Best Quality Horses You Can Find!"

Instead of "Quality Horses" we found something a lot more shocking.

FEB 10, 2006 UPDATE: It has been 10 days since our initial visit to Mountain Dew Farms. We have spent more than 30 hours in Scott County and have had no luck getting a conformation that cruelty charges will be pressed against Mr. & Mrs. Moody. Everyone keeps passing the buck. The letter below, written by a witness to what has gone on, best describes our frustration. This letter has been sent to officials and media within the State. I hope those who are as frustrated as we are will join us in rattling a few cages.
