By the time we got there and got permission to get her help, it was too late.

We named her Angel and know today she is running free over the Rainbow Bridge.

Left to die in the field, she suffered for at least 24 hours.

No water, while her pasture companions grazed near by.

After not being able to convince any of the three local veterinarians to come out and euthanize

her on the property, we were able to get her into a trailer where she had to endure an hour

drive in a trailer before we could release her from her misery.

The owner of the other horses claimed it wasn't his horse, and someone

must have just left it there. Even though the other horses were thin, authorities did nothing else

but allow us to remove her from the scorching heat and take her and have her

humanely euthanized to end her suffering.
